Isla Nublar

Lex and Tim Murphy

Hammond’s grandchildren come to spend the weekend in Isla Nublar. One was a boy who was about 11 years old. His name is Tim Murphy. He was wearing glasses and looked very serious. The other child was a girl, about 8 years old. Her name is Lex Murphy. Her hair was blonde and she is wearing a baseball cap. Gennaro was angry to Hammond because he brought his grandchildren to Isla Nublar but it is not a holiday day and his company is worried about the safety of Hammond’s island.

The whole island is controlled from the first floor of the building. Inside the control room, there are John Arnold, the chief engineer, Robert Muldoon, the park warden, and Dr Harding, the vet.

Then we went to the extractions room. Inside the extractions room we met Henry Wu, the chief geneticist. Henry Wu said he get the DNA from the yellow stone called amber. Inside the amber there are some insects. Some of the insects had fed on dinosaurs. So dinosaur blood is inside the insect. Dr wu show us some boxes, the boxes are Hood gene sequencers and the towers in the middle are Cray XMP supercomputers. They work on the DNA from blood and they repair the DNA chains.

Then we went to the fertilization, the embryos were put into special eggs. Next we went to the hatchery room where the eggs hatch and the dinosaurs are born. All the dinosaurs in Isla Nublar can’t breed because they only make female dinosaurs.
